Solitude Custom Homes was founded by Todd & Allyson Spillane to fulfill their dream of becoming homebuilders and to fill an unmet need in Middle Tennessee for providing "better than code" luxurious high performance homes.
Before beginning his building career, Todd served in various Business Development, Marketing, Training, and Project Management roles in the Healthcare and Technology fields for different Fortune 100 companies.
"When I was a teenager I was fortunate enough to go on a summer mission trip for 2 1/2 months and help build a residential living facility for an indigent retirement community. A team of 30 of us did it all from mixing and pouring the foundation, to laying brick, setting trusses, and all the finishing work. It was an amazing experience to learn so much and very rewarding to do something so worthwhile. I reflect on that time and really appreciate the skills I acquired and what I learned about hard work. I remember the looks on the faces of the retirees in that community and what it meant to them and that's what sparked my initial interest in building and has led me to where I am today. I love that I get to build dream homes for people to make their own memories in." (Todd Spillane)
